The Parent’s Club involves itself in major fund-raising projects and has recently funded the construction of the running track and fitness equipment.
The Parent’s Club is responsible for the smooth running of the Tuckshop and related activities such as rosters, ordering, buying, etc. They also are responsible for the ordering and selling of school uniforms, both new and second-hand.
With the economic position of schools being extremely tight it is virtually impossible to make major improvements without strong support of parents. The Parent’s Club meet on a regular basis and prior to major fundraising activities.
Their meetings also provide social contact with other parents. The Parent’s Club is represented on the School Board which ensures the smooth operation of all support activities.
