A very old tradition of the Catholic Faith is Shrove Tuesday; sometimes known as ‘pancake Tuesday.’
On the Tuesday before Lent – a time of fasting – people would ensure their food supplies weren’t wasted and enjoy a cookup of pancakes to use the butter, cream and jam. We continued this tradition at St. Liborius.
