Caritas Project Compassion Launch

Members of our Social Justice Leadership team travelled to the Hargreaves Mall to join with leaders from other local Catholic Schools to launch the annual project Compassion fundraising drive.
This is a focus for Lent each year and all Catholic Schools endeavour to raise funds for the aid agency Caritas.

Burning of the palms

We gathered as a School to witness the burning of the palms – a very important part of preparation for the Church season of Lent.
Student petitions were also written and burnt with the palms. The ashes will be used tomorrow in the Ash Wednesday liturgy.

AFL players visit St. Liborius

5 players from The North Melbourne Football club visited St. Liborius to speak to the students about their experiences playing AFL and to answer insightful questions from the students. The students loved the complimentary scarves, though they may not be needed for quite a while.
Thank you North Melbourne and the AFL for this opportunity.

Welcome back to St. Liborius in 2023

On Tuesday 7th February we celebrated our Opening School Mass in the Liborius Centre.
Leadership roles were also announced for our Year six students.
The evening concluded with a community BBQ and gathering on the oval.
Great to begin the year in such a manner.
