St. Liborius Swimming Sports

Students in years three to six headed down to the Peter Krenz aquatic Centre for our annual swimming sports.
Lots of students came dressed in their House colours and cheered on with plenty of gusto.
Thanks everyone for your enthusiasm to make it such an enjoyable event for competitors and spectators.

Carlton AFL players visit St. Liborius

On Wednesday Carlton players from the AFL Men’s and AFL Women’s competition visited St. Liborius.
The students loved how the players told their journey to becoming an AFL player and even picked up some AFL merchandise.
Thanks Carlton FC for providing such a rewarding experience.

Caritas Project Compassion Launch

A small but very important group of our year six leaders headed to the Hargreaves Mall today to join with students and staff from all regional Catholic Schools to launch the Lenten fundraising initiative for Caritas Australia.
Project Compassion raises money to support many programs helping those in need in many countries throughout the world.
The students returned with a raised awareness of the importance of this project and will assist with fund raising efforts at St. Liborius.
It also being Shrove Tuesday, they did enjoy a pancake or two at the launch as well!
Thanks leaders, this work is very important to many.
